API Design & Microservices

“APIs are the developer’s user interface. Unfortunately, this is often forgotten in practice. Correspondingly well thought-out and consistent, they should be designed to fulfill the user’s expectations at all times.”

Track API Design und Microservices

The track “API Design & Microservices” deals with the architecture of APIs and API systems. It is not only important to take a look at the API design itself, but also at the future users or consumers. Security issues are just as important. The correct file format from JSON to YAML has to be chosen and defined how RESTful the APIs should be. And last but not least, it’s about testing APIs correctly.
