As an expert in Enterprise Java, APIs, and System Integration, he supports its customers primarily through project work or conducting training sessions. Thilo is (co-) author of several books in the areas of Java EE, (Web) services, and SOA and has published numerous articles for various journals. In addition, he also acts as a Reviewer for IT publications and regularly speaks at international conferences, training events, or Java User Groups.

Based on his experience in leading large-scale API initiatives in both business and technology roles, he shares best practices and provides strategic guidance. Matthias publishes a blog at api-university.com, is the author of several books on APIs, and regularly speaks at technology conferences.
Mark is a researcher, policy analyst and writer who has been working in data systems and APIs, public health, urban planning, and equity policy for over 30 years. He is the lead author of the European Commission’s API Framework for Digital Government, has advised the World Bank on enabling API technology for financial inclusion, and most recently completed research on data governance global best practices for the World Health Organization and on the maturity of health data ecosystems in Europe for the Open Data Institute.
